The final week of the LBA Seniors season delivered exactly what you’d expect—pressure at the top, chaos in the middle, and just enough heartbreak to carry into the offseason.
🎳 Clash at the Top
All eyes were on the showdown between Ron McKenzie and George Bushee.
George needed points. Ron needed… absolutely nothing—but took them anyway.
In classic form, Ron shut the door early, taking three games and leaving George with little more than questions and a long offseason to think about them.
Reports indicate George is currently reevaluating both his bowling strategy and his decision to ever pick up a bowling ball in the first place.
🎯 The Battle for Second
Joe Holcomb had his path laid out—take two from Carl Drury and lock in second place.
Carl, however, leaned into a full arsenal of Carl shots and took 2½ games, playing spoiler in the biggest way possible.
Joe has since sold his gold-lined bowling ball bag. Whether that’s frustration or downsizing remains under investigation.
📉 The Math Problem
Brad Finnearty did everything he could, taking three games from Mary McKenzie in a late push.
But in the end, he came up just short—missing third place in high average by three-tenths of a pin.
Brad has been seen with a calculator, going frame-by-frame through the season looking for that one spare that would’ve made the difference.
